Recently, Grace Church celebrated a very special occasion—our 20th anniversary. In this moment filled with gratitude, old and new friends came together to reflect on the past and share in God’s grace. We felt the warmth and support of one another, which beautifully exemplifies the essence of our church family.
We began the day’s worship with songs of praise
Following this, Sister Lei Jia shared her heartfelt testimony of salvation, which deeply moved and encouraged everyone who heard it.
Messages from the Pulpit and Program Sharing
During the celebration, Bishop Chen Liliang delivered a profound sermon, inspiring us to continue our journey of faith.
The beautiful voices of the Choral Group nourished both our ears and our souls
The children boldly responded to God’s gifts with songs and instruments, bringing joy and laughter to the gathering.
The youth spontaneously formed a band, showcasing their love and dedication to God through their music, from musicians to conductor, reflecting the heartfelt commitment of the younger generation.
Looking Back and Looking Forward
Pastor Wang Shoukua, our founding pastor, shared the journey of highs and lows with God by our side.
Pastor Fang led us in watching a video that reflected on the past 20 years, highlighting moments that are testimonies of God’s grace.
Each story and every experience has strengthened our faith and the power it holds.
At the end of the celebration, we enjoyed a bountiful love feast together, with 243 brothers and sisters present, sharing in this joy and blessing.
Conclusion: Moving Forward with Hope
Twenty years ago our church came into being from nothing. Under God’s leading, and through the devoted offering of the brothers and sisters, this journey of faith began.
From a small gathering at the start to the growing spiritual family we are today, we have walked in grace and seen lives changed. Every act of worship, every service, and every moment of care for one another has become a footprint of the church’s growth.
For twenty years we have held the same desire: to bring the seed of the gospel into the local Chinese community, so that more people may know Christ, experience the Lord’s love, find hope in the faith, and find a spiritual home in the church.
Today we look back with thanksgiving and step forward in faith. The twentieth anniversary is a small milestone, and still more a new beginning. May we keep walking together, rooted in the truth, loving one another, and being salt and light for the Lord, because we are:
