On March 23, 2025, WCMC celebrated the significant milestone of its 23rd anniversary. On this day of thanksgiving, we held our first joint worship service in the new church and successfully conducted the second WCMC Sharing Session. Additionally, the church’s annual publication, Ascending the Mountain of the Lord, was released in digital format during the anniversary celebrations and distributed to the brothers and sisters of WCMC as well as the Annual Conference Board of Literature’s team.

Looking back over the past 23 years, we have witnessed God’s faithfulness and grace. From its founding to this day, WCMC, under the guidance of multiple pastors, we have been blessed with many stories of brothers and sisters serving together in unity. As Psalm 126:3 declares: “The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad”. We give thanks for the church’s growth and every breakthrough along the way.

During the Sharing Session, Pastor Li presented the annual theme of the conference and updates from various congregations and departments. Rev Simon expounded on WCMC’s vision and mission, encouraging everyone to press forward in their journey of faith. This year, we will also launch discipleship courses to inspire brothers and sisters to actively participate in spiritual growth.

Lay leader Sister Crystal Li shared a photo collection that revisited precious moments from our 2024 church life, rekindling the warmth of our community. She also presented upcoming activities and ministry plans for 2025.
Sister Yii Yen WEE, our church treasurer, provided a detailed financial report including the new fiscal year’s budget, ensuring full transparency and confidence in the church’s stewardship.

Looking Ahead for 2025, we anticipate that under God’s guidance, all ministry plans will align with His will. We emphasize being grounded in the Truth, pursuing church unity and spiritual growth, and striving to live out Christ’s love. As Ephesians 4:2-3 reminds us: “with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” May we embrace one another, work together in harmony, and uphold one another in prayer, becoming instruments fit for God’s use.
At the same time, we must stay alert, relying on the Lord’s strength to resist the enemy’s attacks. As Ephesians 6:10-11 declares: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”
May WCMC continue to be a channel of blessing, bringing God’s grace to many more. We pray for God’s guidance over the church’s future, that we may bear even greater fruit—all glory to our Heavenly Father! Amen!
