Dear brothers and sisters, may the peace of the Lord be with you all! With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we would like to share some good news with you: On this special day—September 1st, the first day of spring 2024, and also Father’s Day—WCMC has officially moved into the new church we have just purchased. This is a moment worth celebrating because, after several months of hard work, we can finally worship, gather, and serve God in our new church.
Although the new church is newly purchased, the interior was actually very old. Since the successful settlement in June, our church has begun various large-scale renovation projects. We have repaired the roof, painted the walls and ceilings, replaced the flooring and carpets, remodeled the kitchen and doors and windows, redesigned the children’s Sunday school classrooms, and added a brand new nursery. In addition, we have installed modern sound equipment to ensure a better worship experience in the new church. After all these efforts, the new church is finally ready to be officially used on September 1st! Glory be to the Lord! We plan to hold a dedication ceremony on October 20th.
From now on, the new church in Lower Hutt will become the main church of WCMC, while our previous gathering place in the City will be transformed into the City Mission Point. May God use the new church and the mission point to be a blessing to the community and continue to spread the gospel for the Lord.
We thank God for His guidance and for the prayers and support of every brother and sister from the sister churches. May God continue to bless and guide the future development of WCMC and the City Mission Point. We look forward to continuing to grow together in the love of our Lord and witnessing the glory of our Lord in the future.
